But a good children’s program will actually teach a child how to move to avoid injury. Not just in Jiu Jitsu but in other sports and activities because of Jiu Jitsu’s full use of the body.

A school with a specialized children’s class and proper instructor oversight can actually teach the child not only how to move safely but a myriad of other things.

Jiu Jitsu can give your child confidence, even assist in bullying situations and perhaps ignite their competitive desire. Many children who take Jiu Jitsu watch their grades go up because of the discipline and structure it provides.

If you are a weary and precautious simply watch a class with your child and see their reaction to it.
