Is a Jiu Jitsu match considered a “Fight”?

This is an interesting subject. Some people say a Jiu Jitsu match is a fight. Some say it is just a match. Sometimes it is a matter of the individual’s perspective.

A boxing match is often called a fight.

MMA is called a fight generally speaking.

  • I think that jujitsu is a fight/match, like any other sport like MMA or boxing they’re trying to score points or knock out the other guy where as in jujitsu you’re trying to score points but instead of knocking the guy out you’re trying to make him submit
